Girl's Dress

This adorable girl's dress is ready for that special girl to wear at her next event. It is completely period accurate, closing in the back with buttons. The layered skirt and pagoda sleeves were popular during the 1850's through the civil war. The undersleeves are attached at the shoulder seam. Trim can be changed, feel free to contact our seamstress about that.

Child's Undergarments

The children's undergarments can be purchased as a set or each piece separately. The set includes the undershirt, drawers, stays and petticoat.

Girl's Growth Dress

$45 + the cost of fabric #LJ038

This dress is the most typical style of children's fashion during the civil war. This dress has a three inch tuck in the skirt that can be let out as the child grows. This style buttons up the back and has a buttoned cuff. A growth dress will last for two years if the tuck style is chosen. If purchased you may return it with the receipt and we will let out the tuck and put the bands on for free.

Girl's Dress w/Fichu

This dress is just right for that special girl to wear at her next event. It is completely period accurate, closing in the back with buttons. The layered skirt and pagoda sleeves were popular during the civil war. Lace adorns the fichu edge an sleeves. The fichu is a separate piece, but attaches to the bottom button on the back of the dress. Single layer or Double layer skirt is available.

Girl's Growth Dress

This dress is a traditional style of children's fashion during the civil war. This dress has a three inch tuck in the skirt that can be let out as the child grows. This dress has a neckline, arm bands and waist that are all gathered with ribbon and tie into bows. A growth dress will last for two years if the tuck style is chosen. If purchased you may return it with the receipt and we will let out the tuck and put the bands on for free.

This dress is a prairie style. This dress three tucks in the skirt that can be let out as the child grows. This style buttons up the back and has a gathered neckline, sleeves and waist. The sleeves are adjusted with ribbon. A growth dress will last for at least two years if the tuck style is chosen. If purchased you may return it with the receipt and we will let out the tuck and put the bands on for free. A matching bonnet and a white apron are included in the purchase.
