Our Policies

Please read the following carefully, the West Virginian Sutler holds no responsibility to otherwise inform you of these policies.

	List prices are subject to change without notice, once a price is agreed on that will not change unless the order is changed.
	You will receive conformation of your order within one business day.
	Now accepting PayPal, personal checks or money orders, if paying with a personal check your order will be held until the check is cleared.
	Please make checks payable to Leslie Lovelace.
	A 50% deposit on custom orders is required before work begins.
	The buyer is responsible for shipping and handling.
	Delivery will not be made until full payment is received.
	No refunds on custom orders.
	Custom orders have a three day cancellation period, after that the deposit will not be returned if the order is canceled.
	No returns without prior approval and no credit is given for any and all shipping costs.
	When fabric is provided by the customer any scraps are property of the West Virginian Sutler. Large pieces may be returned to the customer at the discretion of the seamstress.
	No C.O.D. orders.

Measurement requirements

Do not take your own measurements, ask a friend to help you.

The West Virginian Sutler holds no responsibility for improper fit if the measurements that you provide are incorrect.

I detailed list of required measurements will be emailed to you after the order has been placed.

If you are unsure of how to take your measurements please feel free to email us with your questions.

Custom Dresses:

Please take the measurements with your undergarments and the shoes you will be wearing with the dress. Please be sure that the measurements are accurate otherwise your dress will not fit properly. If ordering a corset and a dress your measurements will need to be taken again with your corset on before your dress can be started. When ordering a corset please take your bust measurements while wearing a well-fitted bra.

Girls Custom Dresses:

Please take the measurements with undergarments and note that the hem is measured from the waist. If you are predicting your child's growth please let use know so that we may make the appropriate adjustments.

Men's and Boys Custom Work:

Please take your measurements with the appropriate undergarments and shoes on.
